A groove-block is a board on which we put the big pipes which do not like on the windchest.

Into my organ there is 3 groove-blocks :

1. The big groove-block

It sits on the floor behin the organ

It contains the biggest heavier and pipes of the organ:

            • 8 basses of the flûte à cheminée 8'
            • 6 basses of the bourdon 8'
            • 12 basses of the gambe 8'

It is constituted by two parts :

1. - The groove block which, as its name indicates it, contains all the engravings to forward the air from the conveyance lines hole to the the pipe hole.

2. - The lid
